Grant Watkins VP of Business Development

Grant has over 23 years of domestic and international management experience in the telecommunications industry. He spent 19 years at Corning, and for the last 17 years held the position of Manager of International Engineering for the Telecommunication Products Division. Previously, as Director of Product Marketing at Pirelli Optical Systems, Grant was instrumental in coordinating and managing international product teams that led to the successful deployment of the nation's first coast-to-coast OC-192 DWDM long-haul system. After Cisco acquired Pirelli, he became the Senior Design Consultant for Cisco's Global Center of Expertise where he oversaw multimillion dollar contracts to ensure the technical integrity of optical system contracts. Most recently, he held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for the DWDM thin film filter product line of Unaxis, a multi-billion dollar Swiss corporation.
